Warranty and Repairs

Warranty and Repairs Policy
Last updated: 20 July 2026
1. About this policy
1.1. This Warranty and Repairs Policy explains:
the warranties that may apply to watches and accessories purchased from Juszt Watches;
how to report a fault;
how warranty inspections and repairs are handled;
the difference between a commercial warranty and your statutory consumer rights; and
the terms that apply where Juszt Watches agrees to provide a paid repair or servicing service.
1.2. Juszt Watches is operated by:
Juszt Watches Ltd Company number: 17296372 16 Bath Road Felixstowe Suffolk IP11 7JW United Kingdom
Email: info@jusztwatches.com
1.3. This policy applies primarily to products purchased by consumers through the Juszt Watches website. Different terms may apply to purchases made wholly or mainly for business purposes.
1.4. This policy should be read together with our:
Terms and Conditions of Sale;
Returns, Refunds and Cancellation Policy;
Delivery Policy; and
Privacy Policy.
1.5. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or replaces any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
2. Your statutory consumer rights
2.1. Products supplied by Juszt Watches must be:
of satisfactory quality;
fit for any particular purpose made known to us before purchase;
as described; and
consistent with other legally binding information provided before the order was placed.
2.2. Your statutory consumer rights apply regardless of whether the watch is supplied with a manufacturer’s warranty, distributor’s warranty or Juszt Watches commercial warranty.
2.3. Depending on the circumstances, your legal remedies for a faulty or misdescribed product may include:
the short-term right to reject the product and receive a refund;
repair;
replacement;
a price reduction; or
the final right to reject the product.
2.4. The short-term right to reject faulty goods normally lasts for 30 days. After that period, a consumer will usually be entitled to require repair or replacement before seeking a price reduction or final rejection, subject to the applicable legal conditions.
2.5. Where you are legally entitled to a repair or replacement, it must be provided within a reasonable time, without significant inconvenience and without charging you the necessary costs of the remedy, including reasonable postage, labour and materials.
2.6. The expiry of a manufacturer’s or commercial warranty does not automatically mean that you no longer have legal rights against Juszt Watches. UK government guidance confirms that customers may still be entitled to a free repair or replacement even where a warranty or guarantee has expired.
2.7. Further information about refunds and the short-term right to reject is provided in our Returns, Refunds and Cancellation Policy.
3. Identifying which warranty applies
3.1. The warranty supplied with a product may differ according to its:
brand;
model;
supplier;
age;
condition;
country of intended sale; and
status as a new, pre-owned, vintage, ex-display or refurbished product.
3.2. The relevant product page, order confirmation or warranty documentation should identify:
who provides the commercial warranty;
the duration of the warranty;
the countries or territories in which it applies;
what it covers;
any important exclusions; and
how to make a claim.
3.3. You should not assume that a watch has a manufacturer’s warranty unless this is expressly stated on the product page or in the documentation supplied with the watch.
3.4. Where no commercial warranty is expressly stated, the product remains protected by your statutory consumer rights, but Juszt Watches does not promise an additional voluntary warranty merely because the product was purchased through our website.
3.5. Manufacturer or distributor warranties
Some watches may be supplied with a warranty provided by the watch manufacturer, an authorised distributor or another named guarantor.
Such a warranty is governed by the terms issued by that organisation. Those terms may include:
a particular warranty period;
territorial restrictions;
registration requirements;
approved repair-centre requirements;
product-specific exclusions; and
procedures for submitting a claim.
Where a manufacturer or distributor is the guarantor, Juszt Watches may help you submit the claim, but the named organisation remains responsible for the commercial warranty.
You may still contact Juszt Watches directly about your statutory rights as the retailer that sold the product to you. We will not require you to deal only with a manufacturer where you are making a valid statutory claim against us.
3.6. Juszt Watches commercial warranties
A Juszt Watches commercial warranty applies only where the product page, order confirmation or accompanying documentation expressly states that the product includes a Juszt Watches warranty.
Where such a warranty is offered:
the guarantor is Juszt Watches Ltd;
the warranty period will be the period stated on the product page, order confirmation or warranty certificate;
the warranty will begin on the delivery date unless the applicable terms state otherwise;
the territorial scope will be stated with the product or warranty information; and
the warranty will be in addition to your statutory consumer rights.
A commercial guarantee offered in the United Kingdom must be written clearly, identify the guarantor, explain its duration, territorial scope and claim procedure, and state that the consumer’s statutory rights are not affected.
4. What a Juszt Watches commercial warranty covers
4.1. Where a Juszt Watches warranty is expressly included with a product, it covers faults caused by defects in materials or workmanship arising during normal use within the stated warranty period, subject to the exclusions below.
4.2. The precise cover may be product-specific. The product page, order confirmation or warranty certificate should be checked for any additional terms.
4.3. Subject to your statutory rights, where a valid Juszt Watches warranty claim is accepted, we may:
repair the product;
arrange repair through a manufacturer, distributor or specialist repairer;
replace the product;
provide a suitable equivalent where the same model is unavailable; or
provide another remedy stated in the applicable guarantee.
4.4. Where an equivalent replacement is proposed because the original model is no longer available, we will explain the proposed replacement before proceeding.
4.5. A commercial warranty remedy does not prevent you from exercising a different remedy where consumer law entitles you to do so.
5. Commercial warranty exclusions
5.1. Unless the applicable product warranty expressly provides otherwise, a commercial warranty does not normally cover:
ordinary wear and tear;
scratches, dents, chips or other cosmetic damage arising after delivery;
deterioration of plating, coatings, finishes or decorative surfaces through normal use;
wear, stretching, staining or accidental damage to straps or bracelets;
normal battery depletion;
accidental damage, impact or crushing;
loss or theft;
misuse, neglect or improper storage;
failure to follow the manufacturer’s operating or care instructions;
damage caused by exposure to chemicals, solvents, cosmetics, perfume or unsuitable cleaning materials;
water damage caused by use outside the stated water-resistance rating or contrary to the manufacturer’s instructions;
damage caused by operating the crown or pushers underwater where the model’s instructions do not permit this;
damage caused by leaving a crown unsecured where the watch has a screw-down crown;
damage caused or materially worsened by unauthorised repairs, alterations or case opening;
damage caused by incorrect battery replacement, bracelet adjustment or servicing performed by someone not appropriately qualified;
alterations, engraving or customisation not arranged or approved by Juszt Watches;
removal, alteration or illegibility of a serial number or other product identifier where this prevents us from verifying the product;
faults or cosmetic issues that were clearly disclosed before the product was purchased;
differences in timekeeping that remain within the tolerance stated by the manufacturer for the relevant model;
third-party applications, networks, mobile services or online features outside the control of Juszt Watches; or
any other exclusion clearly stated in the product-specific warranty.
5.2. An exclusion from a commercial warranty does not automatically remove your statutory rights.
For example, accidental damage may be excluded from a warranty, but a consumer may still have a legal remedy where an underlying manufacturing defect caused or materially contributed to the damage.
5.3. We will assess each claim on its individual circumstances and will not rely on an exclusion that is unrelated to the reported fault.
6. Water resistance
6.1. Any water-resistance description must be read together with the rating and instructions supplied for the particular model.
6.2. Before exposing a watch to water, you should check:
the stated water-resistance rating;
whether the watch is intended for swimming, showering or diving;
whether the crown must be screwed down;
whether the pushers can be used underwater; and
any manufacturer-specific care instructions.
6.3. Under a commercial warranty, water damage may be excluded where:
the watch was exposed beyond its stated rating;
the crown was not secured correctly;
the crown or pushers were operated underwater contrary to the instructions;
the case, crystal, crown or seals had been damaged;
the watch had been opened or repaired without suitable resealing or testing; or
the manufacturer’s care instructions were not followed.
6.4. This does not prevent a claim where the watch was used in accordance with its advertised rating and instructions but failed because of an inherent defect.
6.5. Where a battery replacement, repair or servicing requires the watch case to be opened, you should ask whether resealing and water-resistance testing are included in the work.
7. Batteries, straps and other wearable components
7.1. Battery depletion through normal use is not normally treated as a manufacturing defect under a commercial warranty unless a particular battery-life guarantee was expressly provided.
7.2. A battery that is dead on arrival, or a fault causing abnormal battery depletion, may still be covered by your statutory rights or the applicable commercial warranty.
7.3. Normal wear to straps, bracelets, clasps and other wearable components is not normally covered by a commercial warranty.
7.4. A manufacturing defect in a strap, bracelet or clasp may still be covered where the problem is not the result of normal wear, accidental damage or misuse.
8. Pre-owned, vintage, ex-display or refurbished watches
8.1. Where Juszt Watches sells a pre-owned, vintage, ex-display or refurbished watch, the product page will describe its condition and identify any commercial warranty supplied with it.
8.2. The following may be taken into account when assessing the condition of such a watch:
its age;
its price;
its description;
previous servicing or restoration;
disclosed scratches or cosmetic wear;
the availability of original parts; and
any limitations clearly disclosed before purchase.
8.3. Unless expressly stated otherwise, water resistance should not be assumed for a vintage or pre-owned watch.
8.4. A disclosed cosmetic mark or limitation will not normally constitute a warranty fault. However, pre-owned and vintage products must still meet the legal standards that reasonably apply in light of their description, price and all other relevant circumstances.
9. How to make a warranty or repair claim
9.1. Contact us before sending a watch: Email: info@jusztwatches.com
9.2. Please provide:
your full name;
your order number;
the email address used to place the order;
the watch brand and model;
the serial number, where available;
a clear description of the problem;
when the problem first occurred;
whether the watch has suffered an impact, water exposure or other incident;
details of any previous repair, adjustment or battery replacement; and
clear photographs or a short video where these may help demonstrate the issue.
9.3. We may request reasonable proof that the watch was purchased from Juszt Watches. This may include:
the order confirmation;
an order number;
a receipt;
a payment record; or
another reasonable form of proof of purchase.
9.4. For a manufacturer or distributor warranty claim, we may also ask for the warranty card, certificate or registration information.
9.5. Please do not send full payment-card information, passwords or other unnecessary sensitive information.
9.6. You should not attempt to open, repair or alter the watch after discovering a fault. Doing so could make diagnosis more difficult and may affect a commercial warranty where the work causes or worsens the problem.
10. Returning a watch for inspection or repair
10.1. Do not send a watch until we have provided:
return instructions;
a return reference, where applicable;
the correct return address; and
details of the items that should be included.
10.2. Our registered office is not automatically a walk-in shop, repair workshop or customer returns counter. Visits and hand deliveries must be agreed with us in advance.
10.3. Unless we ask for them, do not include unrelated valuables or accessories with the watch.
10.4. The watch should be:
packaged securely;
protected against movement and impact;
placed inside suitable external packaging; and
sent using the return method we provide or agree.
10.5. Where you arrange your own delivery, we recommend using a tracked, signed-for and adequately insured service and retaining proof of posting.
10.6. Where you are legally entitled to a statutory repair or replacement, Juszt Watches will bear the necessary and reasonable costs of the remedy, including appropriate postage.
10.7. For a manufacturer’s commercial warranty, postage arrangements will depend on the relevant manufacturer’s or distributor’s terms. We will explain any known cost before you send the watch.
10.8. For an out-of-warranty or paid repair, delivery and insurance charges will be stated in the quotation or otherwise agreed before the work begins.
11. Inspection and diagnosis
11.1. We may inspect the watch ourselves or send it to:
the manufacturer;
an authorised service centre;
the distributor; or
an appropriately qualified specialist repairer.
11.2. The purpose of the inspection is to determine:
whether a fault is present;
the likely cause of the problem;
whether the fault is covered by statutory rights or a commercial warranty;
whether repair is possible;
whether replacement parts are available; and
the most appropriate remedy.
11.3. We will not charge you for investigating and resolving a valid statutory fault claim.
11.4. If the inspection finds that:
no fault is present;
the reported problem is within the manufacturer’s stated tolerance;
the damage was caused by misuse or accidental damage;
the issue is excluded from the applicable commercial warranty; or
the watch was not purchased from Juszt Watches,
we may offer a paid repair or return the product to you.
11.5. Any diagnostic, return-delivery or repair charge will be disclosed before it is incurred where your agreement is required.
11.6. We will not carry out chargeable work without your approval.
12. Repair, replacement and other outcomes
12.1. The appropriate outcome will depend on:
whether the claim is made under statutory rights or a commercial warranty;
the nature and severity of the fault;
the age and condition of the watch;
the availability of parts;
the cost and practicality of repair;
the availability of the same model; and
the amount of inconvenience that a repair or replacement would cause.
12.2. A statutory repair or replacement must be completed within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to the consumer.
12.3. Where repair or replacement is impossible, disproportionate, unsuccessful or not completed within a reasonable time, the consumer may have the right to a price reduction or final rejection, depending on the circumstances.
12.4. A repair may involve:
adjustment;
replacement of a defective component;
movement repair or replacement;
replacement of seals;
battery replacement;
cleaning required to perform the repair;
software restoration, where relevant; or
another procedure reasonably required to address the fault.
12.5. Where a replacement is appropriate but the original model is unavailable, we may discuss an equivalent product of comparable specification and value.
12.6. We will not substitute a materially different product without discussing it with you.
12.7. Any commercial warranty applying after a repair or replacement will be explained by the relevant guarantor. Your statutory consumer rights continue to apply independently.
13. Repair times
13.1. Repair times can differ according to:
the type of fault;
the watch brand and model;
the availability of replacement parts;
whether the watch must be sent to a manufacturer or specialist;
whether further testing is required; and
whether the work is carried out within or outside the United Kingdom.
13.2. We will provide an estimated timescale when reasonably possible. An estimate is not a guaranteed completion date unless we expressly agree that it is binding.
13.3. We will notify you of a material delay where reasonably possible.
13.4. Nothing in this section removes the legal requirement for a statutory repair or replacement to be completed within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience.
13.5. Where parts are no longer available, particularly for discontinued or vintage watches, we will explain the available options before proceeding.
14. Paid repairs and servicing
14.1. Juszt Watches may, but is not required to, offer paid repairs, battery replacement, adjustment or servicing for products outside warranty.
14.2. A paid repair service is accepted only when we confirm this in writing.
14.3. Before chargeable work begins, we will normally provide:
an assessment or description of the proposed work;
an estimate or quotation;
details of any delivery charges;
any important limitations;
the expected payment arrangements; and
an estimated timescale.
14.4. An estimate is an approximate cost based on the information available before the watch has been fully examined.
14.5. If further work or parts are found to be necessary after the repair has begun, we will request approval before carrying out materially more expensive work.
14.6. You may decline a revised quotation. In that case, you may remain responsible for any assessment, dismantling or return costs that were clearly disclosed and agreed beforehand.
14.7. A paid repair service must be performed with reasonable care and skill. Where no price or completion time has been agreed, consumer law may require a reasonable price and performance within a reasonable time.
14.8. Where a paid repair service is ordered online, you will normally have a 14-day cancellation period beginning when the service contract is entered into.
If you expressly ask us to start work during that period:
we may ask you to make that request in a durable form, such as by email;
you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for work completed before cancellation; and
the right to cancel may end once the service has been fully performed, provided the legally required request and acknowledgement were obtained.
We will provide any applicable cancellation information before accepting an online paid repair.
14.9. Any guarantee applying specifically to a paid repair will be stated in the quotation, invoice or repair documentation.
14.10. A repair guarantee may be limited to the parts replaced and work performed. It does not automatically cover unrelated faults arising elsewhere in the watch, although your statutory rights regarding the repair service remain unaffected.
15. Repairs performed by third parties
15.1. We may use a manufacturer, distributor, authorised service centre or independent specialist to inspect or repair a watch.
15.2. Where a third party acts on our behalf in dealing with a statutory claim, Juszt Watches remains responsible for meeting its legal obligations to you.
15.3. Where you enter into a separate paid repair contract directly with a manufacturer or another repairer, that organisation will be responsible for its own service and terms.
15.4. You should retain all repair reports, invoices and correspondence relating to work performed by another organisation.
16. Unauthorised repairs and alterations
16.1. Work carried out by an unauthorised or unqualified person does not automatically remove every statutory right you may have.
16.2. However, a commercial warranty may not cover:
damage caused by that work;
damage made worse by that work;
missing or substituted parts;
improper resealing;
incorrect battery installation;
damage caused during bracelet adjustment; or
a fault that can no longer be reliably diagnosed because the watch has been altered.
16.3. Where the unauthorised work is unrelated to the reported inherent fault, we will consider the circumstances rather than automatically refusing the claim.
17. International warranty claims
17.1. Manufacturer and distributor warranties may be restricted to particular countries, regions or authorised retail networks.
17.2. A warranty supplied with a watch in the United Kingdom may not provide access to free service in every other country.
17.3. Customers returning a watch from outside the United Kingdom may be responsible for:
international delivery;
insurance;
customs declarations;
import or export procedures; and
taxes or charges imposed by the destination country,
unless the relevant statutory or warranty terms require otherwise.
17.4. Contact us before sending an international warranty return so that we can provide appropriate instructions.
17.5. Nothing in this section excludes mandatory consumer rights that apply in the customer’s country and cannot lawfully be excluded.
18. Contact and complaints
Questions, warranty claims and repair enquiries should be sent to: Email: info@jusztwatches.com

Please do not send a watch to this address unless we have first confirmed the return arrangements.
When contacting us about a complaint, please include:
your name;
your order number;
the product concerned;
a description of the problem;
the outcome you are seeking; and
copies of any relevant repair reports or correspondence.
We will investigate the matter and respond as soon as reasonably possible.
19. Changes to this policy
19.1. We may update this policy to reflect:
changes in our products or suppliers;
new manufacturers or repair partners;
changes to our repair services;
changes to applicable law; or
improvements to our customer-service procedures.
19.2. The latest version will be published on the Juszt Watches website with its revision date.
19.3. Changes will not retrospectively reduce a commercial warranty that was included as part of an existing purchase.
